Our staff at River of Life is committed to bringing our members and guests the Word of God in a loving, but real way. We do not sugar coat sin, and we believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, that He is coming soon and we need to be ready. The staff are here for anything you may need spiritually and are here for you in whatever way they can be.

Our Pastor:

Joseph Stansell has been pastor of River of Life since it's creation in 2002. Him and his wife, Beverly, have three sons: Brian, Jeremy, and Jason, who is already gone home to be with our Lord.

Born in Fluvanna, TX, he was born again at the age of 11 at First Baptist Church Fluvanna. He attended Howard Payne University where he received his BA in Bible. Over the last 40+ years of ministry, he has pastored all over Texas and has made his home at River of Life for almost half of his lifelong ministry.
